Double Focus

In Oslo
the beads hanging
on my black neck
the colourful batiks
and dreadlocks hair
place higher
the hopes of Africa

The thinking
African
the accent
African
the body scent
African
sends radiance
and motherly romance
to my longing heart

But back to Bongo
back to curly hair hanging
in the dizzying tropical heat
back to wild dreams
in flying jeans
scattered IMF pills
Japanese pickups
Russian cognac
American truckloads
massive paper work
gin and tonic
21st Century hypocrites
technocrats
hungry bellies
and limping politics
to find Africa
still
in bitter pieces!
