A new website showcasing Tanzania's urban culture o­nline with a focus o­n music has been launched. The site offers, among others, news, videos as well as an o­nline shop. Tanzanian hip hop scene is budgeoning although it is yet to break out internationally. The style that is most popular among the contemporary youth is Bongo Flava, or rather Swahili hip hop. Since it was coined in the early 90's the style has taken the whole East African region by storm.
