State of Friends - an Afro-Funk band from Odense in Denmark

"If you are into Afro-Funk and grooves and appreciate good music, then State of Friends is worth experiencing for your mind, body and soul". That is what you can read on the cover of State of Friends' demo CD cover which we have received.

State of Friends' demo contains three tracks and was recorded and mastered in Rynkeby Studio by Kaare Svane. The CD reflects the spirit of the group with its fusion oriented style. "We love to play music together. We accept all kinds of music and we do not commit ourselves to playing one style of music".

State of Friends consists of Henrik Jørgensen on vocal and guitar, Hans Thygesen on guitar, Bass Njai on percussions, Peter Bendtsen on bass and backing vocals, Martin Svane on drums and Eddie Mochia on saxophones and backing vocals.

Tracks on this demo CD include Universal Problem, Waiting and Backyard.
