New Year's Eve - SILENT DISCO at Southbank Centre. Print E-mail
Thursday, 20 December 2007
Silent Disco. New Year's Eve at Southbank Centre. Queen Elizabeth Hall
Silent Disco
Since arriving in the UK in 2005, Silent Disco has been huge a hit at Glastonbury Festival, T in the Park, the Reading and Leeds Carling Festivals, the Edinburgh Fringe and Brighton Comedy Festival. For this special New Year's Eve party the audience is given a double channel wireless Silent Disco headphone and can switch between Silent Disco DJs Michael Minten (DJ OD) and Nico Okkerse (NO DJ)

Come to Southbank Centre on New Year's Eve for Silent Disco, a unique party and people-watching experience – and at midnight, step out onto Festival Terrace for some of the best riverside views of the fireworks display over the London Eye.

Dance and watch the live screen visual projections, or take the headphones off and all is quiet - apart from the singing and dancing of your fellow Silent Disco-ers.

'Unmissable... unifying and strangely uplifting...
a brilliant and quirky experience' (London Lite).

The Front Room at Queen Elizabeth Hall, 9.30pm
