Ras Nas interview with BBC 'The Beat' Print E-mail

ImageRas Nas aka Nasibu, a musician and poet from Tanzania, was recently featured on BBC World Service 'The Beat' program.  The interview was conducted in Oslo by BBC reporter Laura Hubber.

In this interview Ras Nas talks about his latest CD "Dar-Es-Salaam". This includes his songs "Guantanamo", "Dar-es-Salaam" and "River Nile". The CD, produced by KonPro label, has received rave reviews by magazine and music bloggers. Other artists featured included Wycleaf Jean and Zoe Rahman. 'The Beat' program is presented by Mark Coles.
