	Mixing reggae, blues, rock and afrobeat, 'Jupiter & Massive 5' offers a fresh and original sound from the communion of many influences. With a successful result in West Africa with groups Jef-J (25,000 albums sold), Lamp Fall Sarafina (cf. film directed by Jean-Baptiste Delahaye in 2003) and a great stage experience, Jupiter arrives in Belgium with his original compositions and scores, progressively taking over the Belgian scene with his exceptional voice. It is with 'Massive 5' - Brussels band - the opportunity to spread even more widely the message of peace, tolerance and humility. Massive 5' (a trio bass - drums - guitar and a harmonica) unite to Jupiter Diop and two singers, providing additional color to the whole, to create a hub of jamaican, african and western reggae traditions. The sound of 'Jupiter & Massive 5' and their lead singer's charisma quickly captivated the public and led to perform on stages and in different places in Belgium (Couleur Café, Atelier 210, VK, Fêtes de la musique, Magasin 4, Un soir autour du monde festival, the Bar des clandestins ...). At a key moment and after these many performances, the entire group flew to tour a month in Senegal and The Gambia (February-March 2008). Result of a year of preparation, this adventure in Jupiter Diop's homeland, has allowed the group to consolidate its musical foundation for the recording of its debut album. The tour across the country as well as production, on site, of a video widely broadcasted on Senegalese television have contributed to the success of this human and musical adventure. A homecoming that proved rewarding and has enabled 'Jupiter & Massive 5' to fit into the musical life of Senegal (radio and television appearances, concerts in various French Alliances, in Dakar's 'Just 4 U' nightclub - Mecca of Dakar's nightlife - meetings and 'jam sessions' with local musicians ,...). Back in Brussels, the group quickly returned to work arrangements and composition in order to transmit and share with the public all the positive energy of this African experience but also as they plan to release their debut album for automn 2010.
