BMV - An upcoming musician from Iceland

BMV Native born, independent Icelandic Recording Artist BMV,is gearing up for the 2008 release of his first solo album. Having teamed up with the talented US lyricist, SJ Sinister, BMV is in the process of having the album recorded in New York by the brilliant Major label mix and engineer/producer, Ken Lewis, after which he plans to have it mastered in Canada by the ingenious arranger Andy Krehm. BMV was born on December 19, 1978 in Iceland as Brynjar Mar Valdimarsson. BMV began his music career in 1992, when he started his first band. BMV began recording songs as a solo artist and released his first single in 1995, when he was 17 years old, followed by further releases in 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999. Wanting to expand his knowledge and experience in the music industry, BMV put music on hold for couple of years and worked in radio as a program- music director, and enjoyed a stint as a popular DJ in nightclubs. Presently, BMV is working as a Program-Music Director for the biggest media company in Iceland, on FM957, as well as recording his first solo album in New York, USA.
