Miikka "Mwamba" Kari is a young producer from Finland who has his hands deeply involved in producing artists from East Africa. He has so far produced a series of young talents who include Mad Ice, Saida Karoli and Ziggy Dee. With this work he has among others won producer Awards such as best producer in Tanzania (Kilimanjaro Music Awards of Tanzania, 2002) - not bad for a white boy, as he puts it.
Miikka started his music career in Finland doing music and sound design works for TV, theater, dance productions etc, working as a freelance sound engineer (studio and field sound) at the same time. |
